Our route plan for Lands End to John O' Groats.
 
1st Day Friday 11th May 2001.

Start Sennen Cove, follow north Cornwall coast past Hartland Point.
If weather fine route across to Lundy Island and on to St. Govan's Head.

If weather less than perfect follow coast to Ilfracombe and then across to Worms Head then on to St. Govan's Head.

Then to Angle, Pembroke.
 
Day 2

Leave Angle via St. Davids Head into Cardigan Bay.

If weather favourable cut across to Llyn penisular otherwise follow coast to Aberystwyth and then past St Tudwals Isles to Menai Strait, Port Denorwic
 
Day 3

Menai to Douglas Isle Of Man.
If weather favourable on to Burrow Head via Mull of Galloway and hopefully to Troon overnight.
 
Day 4.

From Troon to Loch Gilphead through the Crinnen canal into the Sound of Dura then north via Firth of Lorne to Fort William.
 
Day 5

Fort William to Inverness via Caledonian Canal overnight at Inverness.
 
Day 6.

Inverness via Moray Firth to John O Groats.
